Version 2026-09-21

Terms of Use

These terms govern use of FSExplorer and its community tour features.

1. Scope and nature of the service

FSExplorer is a virtual-aviation community service for tracking multi-leg simulation tours. It is not an airline, air traffic service, flight-training provider, aviation authority or real-world flight-planning service. All content, badges and progress are virtual and have no cash or real-world value.

2. Accounts and eligibility

Provide accurate account information and keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for actions taken through your account. One person may not use another pilot's account or submit another person's flights as their own.

You must use the service only if you can validly agree to these terms under the law applicable to you. If you are under the age at which parental consent is required, obtain that consent before registering.

3. Tour submissions and reviews

Submit accurate information and tracker links for flights you have personally completed. Tour legs are normally completed in their stated order. An administrator reviews submissions and may approve, reject or request a corrected submission where necessary to apply the tour rules.

The operator may correct tour progress, remove an improperly awarded badge, or restrict an account when there is a reasonable indication of abuse, manipulation, impersonation, unlawful content or a material breach of these terms.

4. Acceptable use

You must not interfere with the service or other users. In particular, do not:

  • circumvent access controls, probe or attack the service;
  • upload or submit unlawful, infringing, deceptive, malicious or abusive content;
  • collect other users' data without a lawful basis; or
  • use automated means that impair service availability.

5. Profile details and third-party services

You control the visibility of optional pilot information in Profile Settings. Do not make information visible unless you are comfortable sharing it with other users. VATSIM, IVAO, Volanta and other tracker providers are independent third-party services; their terms and privacy notices apply to their services and links.

6. Availability, changes and liability

The service is provided on an availability basis and may be changed, maintained or discontinued where reasonably necessary. We take reasonable care in operating the service, but do not guarantee that it will always be uninterrupted, error-free or suitable for a particular purpose.

Liability for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health, and liability that cannot be excluded by law remains unaffected. In all other cases, liability is limited to the extent permitted by applicable law.

7. Ending use

You can stop using the service and delete your account through Profile Settings. The operator may suspend or end access for a material breach, security reason or legal requirement, taking account of the circumstances and applicable law.

8. Changes to these terms and contact

These terms may be updated if the service or legal requirements change. The current version is shown above. Where required, users will be informed of material changes in advance and may be asked to accept the updated terms before continuing to use affected features.

For contact details and the applicable provider information, see the Legal Notice. Processing of personal data is described in the Privacy Notice.
